Such a great feeling. Can I ask what your nylon raincoat looks like? What do you think you would have done if the shoemaker would have asked about the raincoat?
Hello and thank you for the question.
It was a dark blue Italian Lilion nylon raincoat I was wearing. I have a few pieces of this brand.
Why would the shoemaker or anyone else ask about my raincoat? If someone had asked why I was wearing a raincoat, I would have said as it is, that it is because it is a light and windproof coat and comfortable to wear. If someone wanted to ask about my nylon raincoat, maybe it is because they themselves have a love for raincoats??? ;)
I wear one of my nylon raincoats almost daily. :)
So I have seen those Lilion nylon raincoats on eBay. Are they any good? Are the nice and thin or a heavier nylon?
These Lilion raincoats are thin nylon coats and therefore often very worn in the weave and often leak.

That's why I mostly wear my nylon raincoats in dry weather - sunny or windy weather. That's when they're the most stiff and noisy. That's what I like about nylon raincoats.

Yes 👍 I’ve had them leak like a sieve in the rain

The temperatures are rising again. A good occasion to soak some nice plastic garments with sweat.
I will wear some shiny vinyl jeans and a black shiny trenchcoat until they are soaking. I will treat the inside of the jeans with baby oil beforehand.

There are a lot who like to get hot and sweaty in their macs or waterproofs, but I love the feeling of the cold rubber-lining or smooth PVC/plastic sliding and brushing over my warm bare skin as I slide on a raincoat. Then with every twist or turn or any movement the cold smooth soft fabric provides a wonderful 'all over' sensation against my sensitive bare skin - a marvelous turn on.
I feel the same way about nylon raincoats. When it's cold, nylon makes a noisy sound when moving and the raincoat is more stiff. That's what turns me on. For the same reason, I also like to wear my nylon raincoats when it's not raining.
