Wore my nylon raincoat in sunny weather.
Last week I went to an orthopedic shoemaker in a neighboring town to get some inserts made for my shoes. It was a really nice sunny day and 18 degrees. I parked a little way from there and put on my nylon raincoat and walked the last bit. The nylon coat was open and flapping in the wind. It was a really nice feeling of nylon on my arms and the sound of nylon when you moved. No one looked after me (I think) because I was wearing a raincoat in sunny weather.

Such a great feeling. Can I ask what your nylon raincoat looks like? What do you think you would have done if the shoemaker would have asked about the raincoat?1000Raincoats wrote: May 7th, 2025, 9:04 pm Last week I went to an orthopedic shoemaker in a neighboring town to get some inserts made for my shoes. Hello and thank you for the question.Such a great feeling. Can I ask what your nylon raincoat looks like? What do you think you would have done if the shoemaker would have asked about the raincoat?
It was a dark blue Italian Lilion nylon raincoat I was wearing. I have a few pieces of this brand.
Why would the shoemaker or anyone else ask about my raincoat? If someone had asked why I was wearing a raincoat, I would have said as it is, that it is because it is a light and windproof coat and comfortable to wear. If someone wanted to ask about my nylon raincoat, maybe it is because they themselves have a love for raincoats???

I wear one of my nylon raincoats almost daily.

I love wearing nylon raincoats they are my go to when I go out in the rain, even if I don't go out in the rain i still like to wear them, I currently have 4 nylon raincoats and i sometimes wear them all at the same time fully done up of course.

I also sometimes wear 2, 3 or 4 nylon raincoats. I like nylon best in dry weather and if it's a bit cool. Then they get stiff and make a lot of noise. I sometimes wear a raincoat and tuck it into my pants so it looks like a shirt and then a raincoat on top.Vxr 15 wrote: May 10th, 2025, 3:16 pm I love wearing nylon raincoats they are my go to when I go out in the rain, even if I don't go out in the rain i still like to wear them, I currently have 4 nylon raincoats and i sometimes wear them all at the same time fully done up of course.
