there does seem to have been alot of them on ebay. As to the question of seeing them out, can safely say I have never ever seen anyone wearing one but then that seems to be situation normal. The h&m ones from a couple of years back were never seen in public despite seemingly selling well, the same wth the primark ones. Its always the question, what do people do with them when they buy them?

Saw two ladies wearing them at Goodwood Revival last September, iLife commented good due to being able to see retro fashion under them, in fact may well buy her one for this tears Revival
Broad minded enough to acknowledge we all enjoy different things:)

They are sized quite small, wearable by a model type. They are, I think, polyurethane, as they crackle a lot when one moves in the raincoat

On reviewing some earlier threads I found these on "Parklife Festival - rain", so they must be out there, maybe only worn to festivals, not for daily use. Seems silly really, as they serve the purpose of keeping you dry whether at a festival or in normal life.
