Classic and vintage 1930's rubber and rainwear

Hi, I've been rewatching the old TV series of 'All Creatures Great and Small' on the TV Channel BBC 4, it can also be watched on the BBC iPlayer.

I remember watching the shows in the late 1970's and into the 80's and seeing all the rubber SBR macks and genuine rubber wellingtons.
So watching them again has brought back some good memories.

Siegfried Farnum always wore a good double textured riding mack, whereas Tristan and James Herriott could be seen in SBR macks. Also the Ministry of Ag & Fish also wore SBR macks whist investingation an outbreak of 'Foot and Mouth'.

One of the latest episodes featuring James H in an SBR mack is Series 3 Episode 12.

Then an early one where James goes to help a fellow vet out, he gets James geared up in a very heavy rubber suit to deliver a calf.
James ends up moving around very stiffly head to toe in rubber, looking like a Rubber version of the Tin-Man in the Wizard of Oz.

The really are lots more scenes where Riding macks and SBR macks and rubber boots are featured.........you just have to watch and wait to see what pops up.
