Is it so hard to use one common language - English - for all members no matter which country they are from?
If everybody begins to write in his native language it won't take long the forum is dead.

No, it’s not hard to write in English, and if you look into my postings, you will find them in English. I chose my own language this time for a reason, no matter wich.
Just loved your German Saxonian slang

Hello. It is true that I used to intervene on this forum in my mother tongue. The remark was made to me (with a lot of diplomacyTiefdruckgebiet wrote: August 31st, 2024, 2:06 pm Is it so hard to use one common language - English - for all members no matter which country they are from?

Saxonian...I guess that's English for Sǎchsisch...in my Scientific German college class there was one guy who was fluent in that dialect, and it drove die Frau (the professor) crazy..."Nur Hochdeutsch! Nur Hochdeutsch!"

Yes, the "säggssch" slang is polarizing people. Either you love it or you hate it, seems there is nothing between. I like it, it's always funny for me.
But on international platforms for users from dozens of different countries it's useful and polite to use on common language to discuss. For many members esp. from the UK it isn't a prob, they don't have to translate it, for others it needs a little bit of thinking but today online translators do really good work - so people with little English skills should be able to participate.
