well I noticed Phee's thread was getting slightly "cluttered" with my adventure of ordering the Marigold gloves. I was so impressed with how she looked wearing them so I had to order a pair of my own!. I also got a request from RaincoatBoy on how they are packed. I then thought just make a short review and help others find out about these wonderful gloves!
So I have split off my adventure and will start posting:
1) a short review
2) a small recreation of Phee's photo shoot. Let me be the first to say you cannot duplicate her lovely smile and my intention is not to steal any fame; I just want to create the same wonderful pictures.
PHOTO SHOOT 1
So right off the bat trying to take pictures of myself at 7am in the morning is rough. I had to look to see first how hot it was; it was already getting too warm outside. Ok, I am going to do this anyway! So you break out the camera and get that set up. Pull on the rain pants. Pull on the jacket. Button up the jacket. Pull on the rubber boots. Pull on those lovely, long rubber gloves. Then I am off to the back yard.
The first picture is dark because it is dark outside! I do not have a background like in the original but you have to use what you got. Just a side note; I am wearing my black, silk pajamas under the rain suit. I did not want to be doing anything bizarre in my own back yard.

Photo two has me in a close up. The sun is coming up and I am getting worried about the neighbors seeing me in the rain suit without a drop of water in the sky. Oh well, they need to see how wonderful the black rubber gloves looks against the orange rain suit. As the morning get warmer that lovley rubber odor is really starting to push out of the gloves.

Photo three is a side view but on the left. These gloves just look great!

Photo four is a close up again. I am really liking how the stamp shows up. The gloves still need some more polish but all in all they are a great addition to my collection!
