This morning there was a game between Fifi and Georgia,in Japan, and in pouring rain. I don’t think I’ve seen so many plastic macs iworn by the spectators, and not those flimsy “cellophane” ponchos usually worn at sports matches. They all looked to be fairly robust and, in many cases, when the rain stopped, kept on for the rest of the game. If you are in the UK, it is worth watching tonight’s highlights on ITV4.
