Shiny black outing

Post by Rainwearboy »

All shiny black today, even had a shiny black t-shirt on. I bought some regular white t-shirts and remarked to the cashier, I might need to keep these until summer since I am wearing my black plastic one in winter. She smiled. Got a few interesting looks on the streets.

Well done for wearing this out in public. I only recently bought a black PVC mac, I still feel a bit self conscious wearing it in public, but there is some rain forecast for next week so it will be worn out.

Sunday had to walk 2km to the shop, I opted for double breasted black nylon. Got a nice complement at checkout.

Monday I had to renew my drivers license card, spent an hour waiting at our slow traffic department, at least I was swishing and squeaking around in shiny black PVC pants with matching t-shirt and over that my very heavy PVC double breasted raincoat.

Naturally, being a state run department they did not have a working camera so I had to take ID photos at a print shop a few blocks away, also in my squeaking PVC outfit.
