I retired from work over 20 years ago and, unsure how to manage on a pension, took to charity (thrift) shop dressing. Vintage plastic and nylon macs bought for a couple of pounds hid the dated shabbiness of what I wore underneath and old-man's "problems" required my textile underpants to be replaced by plastic pants. Through contact sites I sought out other men, not always pensioners, who shared my liking for plastic and nylon pacamacs worn with PVC souwesters and overtrousers for outings on public transport, enjoying the stares of other passengers at our outdated rainwear. There was a lot of enjoyment to be had, I discovered, being an old man on a pension.

Sounds exciting, but I prefer rubber to plastic, especially for underwear, although I am enjoying some very comfortable PU pants at the moment

First of all I would like to say that I am not gay but I love the old nylon raincoats from the 60’s and 70’s and wear them daily.

I have nylon raincoats from the 70's. Long ones with just buttons and no hoods. Had to wear these as a child.
