Yeah, I thought so too - one for lovers of the 'nice and tarty' genre of mac sightings.bethbennett202 wrote: May 23rd, 2025, 10:16 amRb it's a very. Spent many years in both Sweden and Denmark where we were able to receive German TV programmes - loved lots of Didi's shows - a true comedy great! I seem to remember one programme called 'Non-stop Nonsens' or something like that - absolutely hilarious! Helga Feddersen appeared in a lot of scenes in his shows.Tiefdruckgebiet wrote: May 23rd, 2025, 3:41 pm And even better Didi Hallervorden with that creepy 1970s "looking like a monkey" hairstyleDidi is one of our best comedians of all times. He is/gets 90 yrs old this year.
Correct, "Nonstop Nonsens" was a comedy episodes tv show which was really funny. There are two DVD box sets (I bought box No 1 many years ago).rothbhoy wrote: May 23rd, 2025, 4:44 pm Spent many years in both Sweden and Denmark where we were able to receive German TV programmes - loved lots of Didi's shows - a true comedy great! Another famous comedy episodes were "Zelleriesalat & Gitterspeise" (a phonetical modification of Selleriesalat & Götterspeise). On YT there should be some clips. And his best cinema movies were "Didi der Doppelgänger" where he plays 2 characters (his best movie) followed by "Didi und die Rache der Enterbten" playing 7 characters. No idea if a dubbed version can bring the original humour to the audience, the original German audio is so great. E.g. in the Doppelgänger movie where the CEO guy instructs the dumb pub guy (both played by Didi) what he has to say to an employee (the CEO guy tries to replace himself with the identical looking "twin" in order to escape gangster attacks). So he instructs his "twin" like that:
"You're the boss. If someone comes to you and aks something, what does he do? He DISTURBS the boss! Tell him either 'this is only your opinion' or 'I don't care about your opinion', or 'write it down, Iater I'll pay attention to it'"![]()
