Wow, another couple of gems. And that first one, with diamentees set in the hem, I owned one nearly 30 years ago. Not sure where I got it, probably on ebay but it was wonderful, huge skirt (probably needed for the very full skirts worn in US back in the 50's). Sadly, I sold it in a 'purge'' but I still have some pics of me wearing it to bring back fond memories.
Sadly Alice didn't put up the hoods in either scene. Those plastic overshoes, galoshes, were very popular in the US, but not sure that they caught on in the UK. Could have been short lasting if worn over heels!
Lovely strain of pre-1960's raincoats coming through. Just hope that you stars have plenty more t publish.
