Drysuits, dry cags, dry trousers
Not necessarily rainwear but does anyone else like to wear rubberised nylon drysuits or separate pullover tops and trousers with latex wrist and neck seals and attached latex socks to go out in wet or potentially wet weather? I wear my drysuit sometimes covered by a regular hooded cagoule and overtrousers.

Not easy to find but I have one. You can find cags and trousers here. http://www.boulderoutdoors.co.uk/classic-spray-cag.htm

I have a kayak cag that is one of my favorite items as the treated rubber lining is just about the nicest feel to anything in my collection and the rubber proofed thick nylon gives an awesome rustle. It's somehow also still comfortable no matter how hot or sweaty I get in it.
Wish I could get some trousers with the same proofing but haven't bought any as often don't have pics of the inside and most seem to have a lining over the proofing.

These suits are what I love. Henri lloyd made them with neoprene lining and crewsaver made a number of really heavy duty suits with white pvc lining. I have a number of these bought off ebay and with new rubber seals they can be like new. Sucking the air out so your body is vacumn packed is a feeling like no other. Normally I add cagoules over the top.

Yes I agree. I have a crew saver suit with the white rubbery lining! Would be good to chat.

If you would like a rubber version try looking for an Avon rubber dry suit! Maybe eBay, they were used by the navy divers early 2000

I can recommend Aquala drysuits, they are expensive and rarely appear on ebay, but if you can find and afford one, get it! The suits are made of heavy dark green rubber on the outside and have a soft shiny white rubber lining, I had one once but it was a bit too small for me so I reluctantly sold it on, I'd love to get another.

i checked a website that sells them but i don't know if these are the same ones or if that site is outdated. nevertheless they are a bit expensive but appear to be cheaper than the viking drysuits.Kinky-In-Scotland wrote: October 12th, 2025, 9:41 am I can recommend Aquala drysuits, they are expensive and rarely appear on ebay, but if you can find and afford one, get it!
