Things I wish I had known when I was 18

Post by Rainworshipper »

I would guess that most of us on here have seen the passing of a few decades. If you could turn back the clock to when you were 18 what would do differently, or what would have liked to have known? For me I wish I had realised that older women(perhaps into their 30's or 40's) often have a liking for much younger men.
I didn't appreciate that there are a small minority of people in the world that are down right spiteful and will do their best to be difficult just for the sake of it.
I wish that I had opened up to women about my fetish for shiny rainwear, it is only from being on here that I realise that there are women who will accommodate men's kinks.
I wish that I had known the value in being part of a group with a shared interest( not necessarily rainwear but in a broader sense).

I wish I was more confident in general. I let the world psss me by with not enough participation. I wish I had been more confident with girls, and had the guts to be more adventurous in what I wore. I wish I had known how many other people out there shared my love of shiny clothing and how much I wasn’t actually alone.

I wish I had not thrown away so many plastic pants and cagoules out of guilt and ‘purged’ my collection, thinking i must be the only one. i wish i had stayed single for longer and experimented more and had some fun just as i was gaining my confidence back after a divorce and not ended up in a toxic relationship (thankfully long rid of that one). Wish i had known who I was and where to have gone for help and transitioned when I was young, but it was the 80’s/90’s and there was stigma and no internet. I wish i had bought loads of cagoules from that era back when there was so much choice, they were cheap and plentiful!

The internet has been a wonderful invention, its brought us all together, shown us there are more folks like us or into the same things that we can meet anonymously online until we find our feet. Can research things and find out where to go for things, shop discreetly etc. we didn’t have that in the 70’s/80’s/90’s
Lets get swishy!

Hello annabell-hood, it's never too late to live your dreams, you have to live them when you feel like it, when you feel them! It's true that today, thanks to the Internet, it is easier to communicate on this subject that we like so much! In addition, this forum is a richness. I found it "by chance" and since then, I come back to it regularly!

I too admit that I didn't have enough courage with women at a young age. I blame myself for all these occasions of "failed love", because of my shyness. I also blame myself for not thinking more that some women could feel an attraction to these shiny clothes. But with my shyness, how can I approach such a subject, without risking a fall?
Today, I'm almost 63 years old, my shyness is still there, it's part of me, but I try to have the minimum of courage to fight it. It's only a short time since I dared to go out in town sometimes dressed in a raincoat. I do, but he has to remain discreet. My ultimate dream would be to be able to go out with an extremely shiny pvc raincoat without inducing negative looks from other people! It's kind of proof that I still have this shyness!

With the knowledge of today, what i would change in the Past:

- To know that i am not the only one anbd there are a lot of other people loving the look and feel of shiny plastic.
- that i would have learned earlkier to say what i want. this was always difficult with everything, not only fetish, rather then try to fit the expectations of the society, and not beeing able to do this, i earlier should have been doing the way it is right for me.
Doing what othery´s want you to do only creates problems for yozurself and the others as i always goes the wrong way for both sides, doing it the own way may also cause problems as not being accepted by the commnunity but this is the only chance to be successful earlier, at the end you will always in any way end being at your own way but lost soo much time...

Not accepting early enough that it will not work without doing it as it is right for you as the wyy fits for you at the end even can lead to that you have wasted a lot of money, left 2 ruined flats and not living where you wnt to live, where you fit in.
PVC is sexy.

Bonjour marcus_germany.
" Savoir que je ne suis pas le seul et qu'il y a beaucoup d'autres personnes qui aiment l'apparence et la sensation du plastique brillant."
Je fais partie de ces gens là. Ce que je ressent avec le PVC brillant est dans un premier temps esthétique et quand je porte ce vêtement, je ressent une douceur, un bien être incomparable !

Hello marcus_germany.
"Knowing that I'm not the only one and that there are many other people who love the look and feel of shiny plastic."
I'm one of those people. What I feel with shiny PVC is first of all aesthetic and when I wear this garment, I feel a softness, an incomparable well-being!
