Chance would be a fine thing these days! A bit too wimpish back in the day to have taken it much beyond the kind of warmed bottom one got at school -with the welcome addition of some plastic/leather. I suspect that finding someone who can readily accommodate one's particular level of interest is, through the internet, a bit easier than it used to be.

@ PVC Rainwearlover : Indeed, i fully agree. I also realized, that in the late 60ies, early 70ies many ladies bought shiny raincoats in every colour you can imagine. It was like a parade, in front of the schools, when some mummies brought their girls into school when it was raining. Even the ladies and their daughters had sometimes the same raincoats. I can remember a mum from a girl living next to me, that they both had the same raincoats : A in small ladies size and a larger girls size. The raincoats were red, had a collar, were very shiny, no lining, and had a matching hood. And they both were proud, and even talked about to otherss that they were perfectly protected against the rain. Their red raincoats had a white trim on the coat and on the rainhat, too. And talso white pockets. The vinyl had such a strong PVC smell / aroma, and they were very squeeky and were rustling when worn. I recall that I one day when izt was raining heyvily, the mum even had a brollie with her, with a red trim. SO imagine : Mum and daughter, both were shiny, PVC unlined raincoats, matching rain hats, and having a brollie, too. What a wonderful sighting. And theyx even talked aacbout that they planned to go to C&A and wanted to purchase a second one in navy blue, just for fashion reasons ! I was so attracted at that time by the sighting of the shiny PVC raincoats, that my fetish for shiny unlined ladies raincoats started to increase. I then took every opportunity to go into the city center, when it was raining, and I was watching a lot of ladies / girls wearing their PVC raincoats. And since the racks of the shops were full with PVC rainwear in early 70ies, I watched so many mummies and daughters trying on raincoats, before they actually bought them. Good evening. In 1982, I was riding a HONDA CB 350, I was riding in all weathers. I had a 2-piece set in black Pvc, very flexible, very shiny on the inside, satin vinyl look on the outside. It was a pleasure to put on this outfit which was very comfortable rain or not. I stopped using it when it was no longer my size!
Today, I ride a BMW R100RS, I found the same kind of outfit, still as comfortable. I still get the same pleasure from wearing it.

I already told in another post about my first experiences with my raincoat fetish, I must have been 10 or 12 years old.
But an older memory came back to me, I must have been 6 or 7 years old, I was on holiday by the sea with my uncle, my aunt and several cousins. One afternoon it was raining heavily, my cousin 2 years older and I went for a walk in the rain. My cousin had a khaki raincoat, I didn't have a raincoat. I borrowed from a cousin, almost my age and build, her very shiny yellow raincoat. During the walk in the dunes, I had a strange impression. I will understand later that this was my first erection. After rereading, I noticed some errors.
First of all, he was a cousin who had a khaki raincoat.

For me it started with wearing plastic diaper panties when I was a little kid. Hearing the rustling noise followed by the sound of the snaps when they were put on was a turn on each time. In my teen years there was also an abundance of shiny raincoats and I fantasized that all girls about my age would also wear jeans and shirts and skirts made out of shiny and non shiny vinyl fabrics. Little did I know that such things and even much "hotter" garments already existed back then in the seventies. But they wouldn't be seen in the highstreet. I now have quite a collection of plastic coated jeans that became fashionable during the last 10 years that fit me and that I even wear to work. I also like the fact that such jeans are worn by quite a lot of women nowadays. So another teenage dream became true.
