Being found out

Post by Smooth and shiny »

Has anyone else on here been in a situation where acquaintances or workmates have found out about your fetish and then gone on to make snide comments on websites such as this? It happened to me a few years ago(not on this site), the person concerned has never detected my presence on here.

Definitely....... back in 1980, I was working in the local authority offices and colleagues found out about my rubbering activities from a 'Blabber-mouth' who came home with me for cuppa and I had left a latex suit hung up on a door and waders and gasmask on the floor.
For 11 years I had to put up with their jokes and pranks before I left and moved on to a another council.

I won't repeat here what I often said in retaliation.

One bonus was I met a guy on my district who was a rubberist as well and we had more than a few dressing up sessions.......... he was a solicitor, so had as much to loose as I did.

Hello "Smooth and shiny".
Well, a few months ago, we were with our family, my 34-year-old son, during a discussion that I don't remember the subject of, said in these words: "my father has always loved latex". I didn't pick it up, then we talked about other things and I never talked about it again. I don't know where he got that, I'm sure I've always been very discreet in this area!
One day, he might have found one of my articles that I had poorly concealed?
After all, it doesn't matter, our fetish is not a disease!!
And then, we don't care what people think of us.

There is nothing nastier than a toxic work place.....I should know I spent 37 years working at one of the countries most famous companies and from day one it was toxic on every level.....so I`m so pleased my pension pot was a little bit bigger than I thought so I retired 7 years early and its heaven However the wife does nt share my love of kinks so I`m still in hiding with it all.but you can`t have everything

Happily I'm not in the (negative) situation (do not know what's going out behind my back). Only once I heard a comment (directly) that I must be a PVC fetishist because in my car were multiple PVC rain jackets. This was on open secret because a colleague of my needed to be evacuated into a hospital nearby: I lent my car to another colleague because I had to do an important thing in the office.
Some years later I went to the founding meeting of our LGBTIQ community in the company (where I'm still member of). I tried to find a latex/PVC fetishist but was unlucky. Later I learned that there was a fetishist that leaved the company (and I didn't know of him/her). Statistically seen I think there should me more than one (assuming 1% latex/PVC fetishists in average).

So there are some at the place I work, that know of my "speciallity" but nothing more.

Well, when my ex wife and I separated and divorced (over 20 years ago now) she thought it was a good idea to let my Mum, sisters and brothers know about by plastic mac fetish. As it turned out they didn't care, they told her I was still the same person and afterwards my brothers actually talked to me about their own kinks.

I once was changing the bed sheets wearing nothing but a pair of clear plastic jogging bottoms. My wife came home unexpectedly. I was putting the duvet cover on and didn’t notice her standing there straight away. She knew of my liking for plastic, but had no clue that I secretly bought and hid items that she would not have approved of. For a short while I felt liberated at having a more extreme dressing up (or down) session discovered, but then she started referring to it as my “baby thing” which I didn’t like. I told her I was not into ABDL but she didn’t really believe me. I would dress in adult baby pants, rompers, dresses etc if they were made of PVC but only because I crave the plastic on me, and have no interest in diapers, dummies, or anything else other than the soft shiny material. She is my ex now.

I told one of the secretaries at work during one of our after work boozing sessions in the local pub and it got round the office, but she swore that she hadn't said anything about it, so we guessed we had been overheard. For the next two years every time it rained, I'd hear comments like " great weather for a raincoat" or " could you get the coffees from Starbucks as you have the gear for it".
When I quit, one of the other girls came up to me in the pub and told me that she had a rainwear fetish and she had been hiding it as she had seen how I was treated!
So there are lots of us around, just hiding in plain sight .
