Lovely rain here today so it's on with two pairs of my Peter storm nylon rubber backed leggings.and my lovely long Peter storm nylon pacamac and not forgetting naked and wellies as I'm out in my garden and shed sorting out the plants ready for the winter. And really enjoy the cold rain getting my waterproofs nice and wet on the outside.
And nice and sweaty on the inside.
Lovey feeling.
Enjoy your wet Sunday
Looking at the forecast for here today and was hoping for a nice few hours of rain with the odd heavier downpour thrown in but unfortunately we only had about an hour of rain early this morning and one really heavy downpour late morning which I managed to get out in and got really nice and wet, hope this is the start of some good weather to come.
Hailstones on my sou'wester today. Some hurt a bit but none did any damage to my sou'wester, rubber mack or boots. Really exhilarating walking in the storm. Haven't had so much fun for several months.
Inthe pub afterwards I caught a bloke having a crafty feel of my coat so I invited him back to mine for afters!

Afters sounds rather interesting
Broad minded enough to acknowledge we all enjoy different things:)
Was down Cornwall the last few days and oh my the number of rainwear being worn was fantastic! From yellow pvc fishermans smocks, to men and women wearing rubbery looking PU macs, some lovely cagoules, modern and old, a fluro yellow kag in a bag original, plenty of regatta and peter storm modern cagoules and a lady dog walking in what looked like a proper vintage yellow and blue pvc fresenerze long mac! I was in heaven!!!

I don't normally see much really nice rainwear being worn. I must be walking around with my eyes shut!
It was biblically wet!!! Alot of autumn tourists around and dog walkers on the beach still. I see helly hanson has released a new version of their moss fisherman’s style mac, i saw a couple wearing them she had on green and him yellow.
And here in Nottinghamshire also.......Rain to me means protection needed if going out and what could be better than a good mack made of the material you like...... Me its rubber, pvc and plastic. They all give pleasure.
