The Stutterheim Stockholm coat e.g. are designed for unisex with straight fit, and they are offered as shiny opal versions as well. I own some and I really love them! It's a matter of style no matter which orientation one has. The Farmerrain retros luckily are designed in unisex sizings and you can optimize them a little bit by modifying the belt (I did several mods, some in the Rukka belt style, some in a SBR Mac style with a black pin buckle).
timeless fashion is the best fashion - classic "rubberized" raincoats are timeless

I am not gay but I find that one good thing about getting older is that I care less about what people think: I am glad to have got rid of most of my inhibitions about wearing a long shiny mac out in public, I shall be out for a walk or a pushbike ride tomorrow, enjoying the rain.

Take a look at the website of Wethervain and they show shiny rubber coats and don't mention any "gayness". Now perhaps I'm missing something and, if I am, Heaven help me.

I dont think people associate these days men being gay because they wear shiny macs, more they look pervy as in fashion there are a number of male clothes now that are in faux shiny designs.
Wear your PVC with pride as i do, dont care what people think went to the shop this morning when it was raining in my PVC-U-LIKE Sailor rain suit in shiny yellow, wellies and topped with yellow shiny mac, no one took any notice.

Hi,
In an earlier response it was mentioned a PUL "sailor rain suit" in shiny yellow, do you know the PUL item code number is? Interested in having a look for same, I can see code SU07 or 10.
Thanks in advance

PVC-U-LIKE Sailor suit is SU41 and come in various colours and have 6 of them, which dont have to have the white trimming you can order in one colour, just add in the special comments box one colour solidIzzitpvc wrote: October 13th, 2023, 4:01 pm Hi,

Being gay is who you’re attracted to, not what you wear. So why would you talk about Puffs ( I assume you mean poofs) and looking gay if you didn’t mean to be insulting?Pvc Vinyl Enthusiast wrote: January 31st, 2016, 4:49 pmMy reference to the term 'puff' is not intended to insult; I am simply stating what some people (and yes, there are plenty of those out there) might be thinking in their minds if they saw a man wearing a shiny or glass clear PVC raincoat, complete with clear PVC brolli, which are generally thought of as women's apparel.ray@rainwearcafe wrote:Being straight or gay has NOTHING to do with what you wear and I agree the term puff is insulting and has no place on this or any forum

Wearing a glass clear mac don't make you gay. Just makes us people that love rainwear stick out to us that love it.
And just because we know we are wearing it because we love it .makes us think that every one else knows are fetish fo macs ect.
