On the downside 80's Nike Windbreakers were not waterproof. They were more of a runner/hip-hop fashion item.
Made from noisy Nylon and I love them for that. Noisy Nylon sounded great while running: People could hear you coming.
Nickel/Chrome Eyelets at the hood drawcord. Cuffed wrists and cuffed waistline also made them a more Anorak style.
But I feel your dislike for not being able to see if it has a shiny lining.
Don't you just hate it when people list a Cagoule on eBay and fail to show the state of the inner waterproofing?
Is the waterproofing damaged? How thick is the waterproofing? Is it shiny or Matt?
I can't imagine what jobs these people do. With their attention to detail. I would not employ them.

Indeed. It is ugly just how many eBay listings describe the item as "in great condition!!!"
But the item will have knackered Waterproofing/Rips/Burns/Broken Zips/Careless abuse.
How stupid do these people think we are?
It's also astonishing the amount of people listing an item as being made from Polyester.
When it is actual made from Polyamide. These people have low attention to detail.
Polyester is not Nylon. Polyamide IS Nylon. The difference is Trademarks.

PTFE Spray (Dry Film Lubricant).
Probably not what you wanted to hear. Maybe Burn it, problem ̶s̶o̶l̶v̶e̶d̶ dissolved.
