Like old times

Raining heavely this morning and decided to wear a long nylon mac I hadnt worn for must be twenty years. I always loved my 'Totes' macs, I have four, I dug up my petrol blue one with hood. It felt lovely and somehow sexy. I took my little dog on his lead and as raining quite hard pulled my hood up. Walked about a quarter of a mile and passed several people some saying hello, no one had a proper raincoat on.
I wasn't walking for long when I felt a little wet inside my mac, yes it was leaking. By the time I got home I was soaked through but what a feeling. I guess time is not good for these nylon macs.

The older non taped seams ones do leek badly in anything but a light shower or build up condensation quicky if not breathable.

Still love wearing them though
