Finally joined the group

Post by CottonGuy »

Hi all,
I have finally joined after reading posts for a while. I kind of imagine this is what coming out is like to a certain extent. After years of not telling many people at all that you really like wearing pvc and waterproofs I am finally here discussing it! I am lucky in a way that my job requires me to wear waterproofs when it is wet. The full realisation was wearing a full viking rubber orange suit from about 14 onwards, heaven. Many rain suits later I have finally got a new viking suit for my in door collection :D . Hope to get to know some of you better.

Welcome to the group CottonGuy. Your story is similar to a lot of us. There is something very liberating about being able to openly admit your desires to like minded people.

A warm welcome to you Cottonguy :)
I bought one of those orange Viking rubber suits some years ago but was very disappointed to find that, despite their name, the suit was made from some plastic material and not rubber at all :(

No they are not rubber, a thick pvc with quite a smooth feel to it. Nice and heavy though. Also as they are cotton backed you need to wear another layer underneath 😋

Yes, I know, mine is still in it's wrapper at the bottom of a cupboard. I did open it up and try it for size but as I said, a bit of a disappointment really.
