Quick update on this clip! Whilst not in HD quality sadly, it is right up there with the earliest film releases where you could see a woman or women wearing plastic macs in films. I can only think of 7 others straight off of the top of my head that came before this one: The Hollywood Revue of 1929 (1929), Hoop-la (1933), The Bishop Misbehaves (1935). Gold Diggers of 1937 (released in late December 1936!), Le Quai des brumes (1938), At the Circus (1939) and Kitty und die Weltkonferenz (1939). Would love to see a HD clip of this Hungarian film.
