Agree wholeheartedly with you Priscilla - I love watching old French films and coming across mac scenes like the ones in this clip and the other one I put up earlier today of Dany Carrel in her light blue PVC mac. They've given us so much down the years. My favourite one has got to be 'Faubourg Saint Martin' with Françoise Fabian in that wonderful shiny black PVC mac that she wears in many scenes. Vive la France!

Love those Françoise Fabian scenes. French actresses certainly know how and when to wear macs. Catherine Deneuve looked superb in "Belle de Jour" and one of the other "ladies" at the salon asked to borrow her mac to wear for one of her clients.

Cheers mate! Oh yes indeed - I absolutely LOVED Catherine Devenuve in 'Belle de Jour' - a true classic film that one and a what a lovely mac she wore in it! She wears macs in other films too. Another of my favourite French actresses is Michèle Morgan - loved the (now vintage!) plastic macs she wore in 'Joan of Paris' and 'Port of Shadows'. I think she was one of the forerunners for French ladies wearing plastic/PVC macs in films.
