I've noticed that since I put the URL for PVC4FUN (Pinterest) on this Forum that it has now been taken down by Pinterest after being there for a couple of years at least. I have my suspicions here as to what happened. I will leave it up to you to draw your own conclusions on this one....

I don’t know if this will confirm your suspicions or help others with their conclusions but I can tell you I asked Pinterest to remove around 50 images and issue a strike against the PVC4Fun account

Yesterday I received confirmation from Pinterest that they had removed the images, quite rightly, they made no mention of whether they had removed the account

Well that saved me a tedious job!!

I WAS IN THERE YESTERDAY !

Let that be a lesson to my self: if you see a picture of something fun or something you may want to buy someday when I win the Lotto, save the picture right then and there! Things are on the internet for years and you cannot get rid of them. Other things are gone in a movement.

No problem, as much as I love seeing pictures of them it does get a little tedious seeing the same image of Kylie at Glastonbury or Jenna Coleman in that tartan mac 100’s of times on the same profile

Around 48,000 images and at least 50% of them duplicates, triplicates or more !!!

Maybe the image magpies should invest in some external hard drives for their ‘collections’

They might even exercise some quality control rather than frantically save every image they come across

Who in their right-mind would want to save the image on the left?



At least some of these magpies do have some idea of quality control

I was amused to find the early morning, freezing cold and rainy setting for this image didn't suit the magpie so they decided to change it
