The scenes are many but very fleeting in the film where the jacket looks plastic, but a search of images shows it is a nice shiny nylon.

I buy these films with shiny mac bits in them is it worth getting this film on blu ray to see her in the mac and is it a good film

When seeing films and TV programmes with rainwear I like to allow my mind to wander into what it must have been like during the filming. The moment the director told the actress to put on the plastic Mac, her standing in line at the catering truck dressed in her shiny outfit, or the scene replayed over and over to get it just right; "CUT ... that was perfect darling but do it again for me so I can watch you in your plastic suit as you attempt to hide from the Pedator". There was an interview with Kate Beckinsale about the Underworld film where she talked about the effect of her her black latex outfit on the film crew! It's nice to see rainwear in films, but let's not forget, when the cameras stop rolling, the mac is still on and will probably remain like that until back in the dressing room - and who knows what might happen then!
