I have a Guy Cotten rosbras jacket in yellow..it is not a s shiny as the Helly Hansen ,although I have not tried 'polishing' it yet as it is brand new.
The hood on the Guy Cotten is a fluorescent yellow nylon material ,rather than what looks like a rubberised hood in the picture here.
The medium is quite big on me, made to have thick jumpers under it for sailing ,I presume.

Why not the magic hood? Is there anything wrong with that?
I think the fluorescent material is only in some ranges of their products, they should also have the rosbras with a normal yellow hood

It did not come from Farmerrain...I bought it online from a sailing gear supplier in Essex...I will have to look up their name..They were very helpful as I originally bought a bigger size...and they changed it without question ,sending the smaller size out before I had returned the larger one. I think I would have preferred the normal yellow hood. I saw the alternative jacket too late to change from what I had bought.

i got a new pair of me108 (an older pair from 2012 but they larger size). when i was about to put them on, i noticed they were fused and one of the gloves ripped while having that strange rubber odor when it is warm out. i ended up getting a refund and had to throw out the gloves. the older marigolds were not as stiff. i am looking to get the 107 pair.
