Hello dear reader and Bill. I havent been on the site for some time. Which isnt to say life has been dull. A little sparse at times but not dull. Ive always found with the hedonistic lifestyle that anticipation can sometimes over shadow the meeting of like minded souls. Examples can be last minute cancellations by either party, domestic issues or a myriad of other obstacles. Most frustrating, however on occasions opportunity smiles on us and can lead to some thrilling liaisons. This is the tale of one such liaison which led to several others.
On a cold wet and very dank day in January, I was at a local shop. Due to the conditions I was wearing my Klepper mac and PVC over trousers. I had got what I needed and was about to drive away when I felt a bump at the rear of my car. After some under the breath profanity I got out. The elderly chap driving the other car was most apologetic and very upset. Fortunately there was no damage to either vehicle, so I considered the matter finished with. The gentleman however offered to buy me a coffee in a nearby cafe. I agreed and we decamped to a small cafe nearby. I should say at this stage Bernard was a very attractive rather petite gentleman. He was wearing a long double breasted leather coat and shiny black wellington boots.
We enjoyed a coffee and warm up and the chat moved along freely. Bernard was a very pleasant chap and rather camp, which I do have to admit I like very much. He told me where he lived which was a couple of miles from me. He also told me he was widowed and had not lived here very long. He also told me how much he loved the Klepper I was wearing, this certainly fine tuned the radar. Bernard invited me to call at his house saying that we could chat in a more convivial atmosphere at his place if I would like to. He then gave me his number to call him to make sure he was in. We left the cafe and started to walk to the cars, Bernard linked arms with me to cross the road. I saw him to his car and we parted.... .
