The chances of damage would more go the other way around with the pvc damaging the latex.

Hi Guys

You should not mix PVC and Latex. The natural alkaloids, oils, Tannins and sulphur in Latex interact with the plasticiser in PVC allowing it to leech out of the resin which results in the PVC becoming "Mottled" and hard in parts which looks unsightly and is not reversable, so once the damage is done that's it!

Latex is more hardy but it needs to be stored in a dark room / cupboard because light can damage and degrade it but it doesn't get damaged by PVC per se.

Bottom line, do not mix PVC and Latex.

the reason i ask is because i have a modified SU18 that i want to add glove seals to give a full enclosure suit and i was informed that i could get latex seals from a drysuit put on. perhaps i could ask to get some inner material to make sure it has less contact with the sleeves.

I have added latex to a pvc suit. I used a plastic glue designed for gluing latex seals to a pvc drysuit. This glue is a contact adhesive and works really well. You tube has videos showing how to replace drysuit seals if you need some help.

I know latex sticks together more than plastic do. If in storage ect.
I love the feeling of latex breathplay. But plastic is so nice too.
And I think last a lot longer untreated
