Old Rainwear Website

Hi All,

I know some of you must have visited the site I am referring to but I can’t remember it’s name.

It had a long list down the left hand side and when you clicked on that there used to be a lot of thumbnails appear of rainwear photos and videos from that category.

Does anyone remember what this was called and if it’s still going?

I remember Vnylrain well. Spent many hours looking at all the wonderful images, and waiting anxiously for the updates, which were infrequent but usually included lots of lovely pictures.

Perhaps Plastic Loustic?

Did a Google search and was very surprised when it came up with the following site:

Wow, now that really is a blast from the past. One of the original sites - many hours looking through those images, I remember most of them like old friends!

Oh Yes !!!!! How could I have forgotten Plastic Loustic ?????? One of the very first sites I found during my early days on the internet. I spent many a happy hour browsing those images, my favourite being "055.jpg" in the "Archives" section; the pink see through plastic jacket and matching trousers, the plastic bed sheet, the plastic pillow cases and other see through plastic items on the bed which the same girl can be seen wearing in the other photos. I particularly like "056.jpg" also in the "Archives" section.

Definitely a nostalgia trip. I'd visited Vinylrain's site a few times over the last few years, hoping for the odd new update, but I'd completely forgotten about Plastic Loustic.
I had to take a look at the photos of Muffy on Vinylrain's site again last night. Love her in the long black pvc raincoat that were popular in the late 80's, early 90's. She reminds me of an old girlfriend, although she didn't wear a long mac, only a solid green pvc jelly jacket worn occasionally on camping trips!!
I seen to remember there were a few more, risque pics of Muffy in her mac, with nothing on underneath, but they all seem to have disappeared online.
