Pretty sure I've got another link to a 'Maigret' episode filed away somewhere in the deepest archives of 'Gothic Towers' - will post the link WHEN I can find it....
Here's the link to 'Maigret et L'Indicateur' (S03-E13). Sarah Sterling is the actress - she wears a shiny black PVC mac in about 6 or 7 scenes. https://m.ok.ru/video/31494113951
I have many black macs like this now, I really enjoy wearing them.

Having been to Paris in the early 1960's, it was a great disappointment that the contemporary "Maigret" series on BBC didn't feature many shiny black macs as there were certainly plenty to be seen on the streets in those days, especially around Montmartre. I can only recall seeing one in an episode featuring two young women called Hortense and Suzy, one of whom (I can't remember which) wore a lovely such mac in a few scenes. I don't recall any in the later Rowan Atkinson series.

Beside the fashion these old Schimanski Tatort crime movies are ass kicking - the Horst Schimanski character (played by Götz George) is a vulgar rude guy from the streets, not a clean office cop like all the Tatort inspectors before... and so these movies are far away from today's political correctness mania.
The first Schimanski Tatort ep. from 1981 "Duisburg Ruhrort" feat. a scene with a mid-aged woman wearing a grey Klepper Touring mac (unfortunately without hood).
I remember watching them when I lived in Sønderborg (Denmark) - close to the German border. Great stuff!
I seen one of these macs from usa ebay. It was also in its original box, like mint for 165 quid, I really wanted it but unfortunately couldn't afford it at the time.
Probably the kind of figure you'd be looking to pay for such a mac in decent condition.
