is it me does Etsy have a lot of scam sellers when it comes to pvc and rainwear now?

I don't use Etsy anymore for that very reason. There's too much junk on the site now. When you do see a good item, the price is often horrendous.

that site is what started my rainwear collection. tbh i noticed it started going downhill recently but seeing vintage raincoats posted now is much harder but in fairness i started using the site over 8 years ago so that is a long time where the scarcity is expected to be higher, however, part of the other issue could be fewer members posting them on there as well.

there is one really nice looking hand made raincoat until you realize it looks like the image was AI generated and therefore you cannot trust the quality of the material or if it resembles anything like it.
