I love the fact that she's even wearing her raincoat in the plain sunshine - no rain at all.
Just love the shiny yellow sight :)

Search for other episodes of her series and you'll find more nice raincoat scenes... ;)

thanks for excellent find.

young women frequently dressed this way in the late 70s. their slicker was just another jacket, and many wore them rain or shine, especially the reversible type

It's a Petit Bateau Raincoat - lovely Oilskin feel and quite 'slocky' in sound.

Ladies . . . . .http://www.petit-bateau.co.uk/e-shop/fm ... coats.html

And Men's . . . http://www.petit-bateau.co.uk/e-shop/ho ... ncoat.html

I haver the men's navy and wear it often. :-)

its the price that makes them so rare. in the late 70s you could buy them anywhere (7-11, pharmacies, flea markets in addition to the usual shores for $3 to $15. 132 pounds is way too high for something you just throw in the car)
