I found this clip years ago and have been looking for the full clip ever since but no luck so far, you never know, hopefully one day.

That would be quite a find, I have on VHS tape a clip of Sarah Greene going down the Canadian rapids on a raft dressed in a frosty clear rain suit but cant transfer it to PC

Must be a lot older than some of you !
I can remember Valerie Singleton with Peter Purves ( I think) wearing plastic macs back to front to wash the shows got, at that time I think it was Petra.
That's what maybe steered me into my love of plastic macs etc

The Sarah Greene clip could be converted.
Conversion from VHS to PC is fairly simple in two steps, provided the VHS is not protected. The main problem is that the quality of VHS recordings is far below modern standards plus the loss, albeit small, in the conversion process. Copy the VHS to a DVD on a combined recorder/player, then use conversion software on the PC to convert file "VTS_01_1.VOB" to one of the standard PC formats (.mp4, .avi, .wmf, or whatever).
