That shiny blue raincoat she's wearing is somewhat similar in appearance to PVC U Like's Shiny Patent Blue material. When such as raincoat is handled or worn, the soft, smooth and glossy PVC surfaces cling to each other, producing a nice 'crackling' sort of noise. Matte or semi-transparent/frosted PVC seems to lack this kind of effect.

I have a couple of very shiny glass clear plastico raincoats I won on ebay. They are such a dream. The hard part is putting them away. They stick to anything they touch. They make a very loud crackly sound and smell absolutely amazing.
