Clear PVC fashion

Searching picture sites over the past few months I have noticed there seems to be a growing interest in glass clear PVC raincoats. A lot of girls and young women and even men have been posting pictures or rather 'selfies' of themselves. Generally the comments are enthusiastic but there have been the odd one or two who thought they were 'weird'! One girl, pointing to a rack of them in Topshop, said 'I would not be seen dead in one'! Thankfully she is in the minority so hopefully the popularity will increase and we shall see them out on rainy days.

Highly doubt you will see many out on the streets, previous offerings havent had much by way of public airings. You have to wonder who actually does buy these coats and what they do with them because you will be most unlikely to see any being worn on the street

Thanks for sharing, I know how time consuming it can be to find this type of image

Most rainwear seen outside these days seems to be worn at festivals / outside concerts rather than on the high street, and even then is packed away 'just in case'

Someone who bought a mac from me on ebay said 'perfect for packing for my holiday' so no doubt on their return it got hung up in the hall

Not many of the girls Ive worked with have their own rainwear, of any type, and seem to prefer to use an umbrella

Apart from outdoor 'events' or hobbies do people need rainwear any more, when most dont move much further from the front door to the car, and then the car to the shops / office

I've noticed more of them on ebay. I have about 3 or 4 of them myself. I mostly use them in the bed. It feels great having pvc stick to me.

Guilty:) My favorite one is soft as butter and has a matching hat.
