The weather looks fine where she is, it's so nice she's wearing a mac, maybe it was the only coat she had, or it had been raining when she put it on, you can get blue macs off the Internet but none I seen look as great as this one.

Also nice to see the old "Uerdinger Schienenbus" railcar. And the police guy carries one of the vintage police raincoats (at least it looks so).

I'm pretty sure it's the only episode shes wears the blue PVC mac - in a few of the other ones she wears one of those yellow Friesennerz-type macs. I'm not a great fan of them!

I'd go as far to say. It's my most favourite mac since I been on this forum.

Don't forget that shiny coats and jackets were very fashionable in the seventies and partly also the eighties. They were even worn in sunny weather back then.

And last but not least the series is playing in a coastal region where rainproof clothing is always present except on hot summerdays.

Those old vintage police raincoats are really nice - must look closely in the flea markets for one next time I am in Berlin.

Praise indeed Beth - can't say it's my favourite but it's definitely up there. Off the top of my head two of my favourites would have to be the old clip of Ladylack in that long shiny black PVC mac walking about on the wooden bridge, along with the shiny black PVC mac worn by Françoise Fabian in 'Faubourg Saint Martin'. Another one I really like is the long shiny black PVC mac worn by Camila Cabello strutting her stuff onstage at the Z100's Jingle Ball, New York City (2019).

Strong agree from me that Francoise Fabian pretty much nails the shiny black PVC mac look in that film.
