At the end of 2024 I posted a request for any information for assistance in repairing a PVC garment which required some tlc, namely SU10 one piece overalls which I had purchased from our friends at PUL, a number of years ago in a material which is no longer available.
Initially I was asking about glue & several makes where suggested for the task in hand. After carefully considering & research, I found a glue which seemed to fit the bill from a manufacturer called "stormsure" the product "flexible repair adhesive".

I was very lucky the repair was not a tear but two seams had parted company, with the folds in the PVC still in tack and was able to glue these folds back together with the glue on the insides of these folds, so the glue was therefore not likely to be prolonged contact with skin. I also took this opportunity to carefully pop some glue on some of the other seams on the garment, hopefully adding some additional fixing.

I am very happy with the results, so if you are looking for glue "stormsure" website maybe another option to look at.

i have been looking to repair a pvc garment that i bought from PUL but it is by the neckline. i actually want to get more modifications done to it as well such as having hems attached over the foot socks and soft glove rings.

Repairing my garment was my first "go" So no expert in this dark art of repairs/mods to PVC. As far as I can tell this "stormsure" glue remains flexible even when "cured" so if you are planning to fold hems over and attach the foot socks, if it is any help, I used this glue very sparingly, small dots of glue in a line, then used the end of a handle from an old plastic spoon (round/smooth edges) to make the blobs into a continuous line and then folded the edges together. One thing to bear in mind the glue does have a distinct smell, As my repair was carried out recently I have no way of knowing if this smell goes away eventually. Best of luck in your endeavours.

i rather bring it to a repair shop but i have had no luck. candy coated kink used to repair garments for me but said my standards are too high and will no longer provide any service.
