Soon even simple rainwear images may be hidden from us in the UK as the online safety bill forces even small sites to prove user age, likely only possible by handing over private information. Our site is littered with posts about the loss of nostalgic pages no longer available and pleas to find favourite images. I think, for those of not already doing it, we should download content and keep it safe offline. I for one will revisit sites but only recently started to wonder what life would be like with no access because the site is offline due to the hurdles of legal compliance. Oh how I wish I had saved content from Plasticlovers before it went dark.
