Satisfying dream

I rarely remember dreams but last night I think was one to share….

Scientists developed a bacteria to clean up certain types of environmental pollution. But something went wrong and it ate all forms of textile except plastic and nylon. The result was initially that most people had to walk around naked, but we were all covered by our favourite rainwear. People started buying up rainwear and PVC clothing until there was a worldwide shortage. Prices went through the roof - those with large collections could sell off a proportion and became millionaires; keeping enough for personal use. PVC-U-LIKE overtook Apple and Amazon in value and “plastic riots” happened where people raided warehouses they suspected of having stocks of unaffected material. Anyone who tried to create new materials for clothing saw their efforts munched by the bacteria. In the dream I even remember a designer showing off new material clothing on the catwalk, only to have the outfits dissolve to nothing as the models tried to show them. As dreams do I didn’t make any practical sense but those under 18 gave off a pheromone that kept the bacteria at bay and allowed them normal dress; Of course scientists were unable to replicate it and could not be transferred to adults.

I know this was not a practically viable scenario but it was a rather nice dream for once!

In a dream I listened to "Dream on" by Aerosmith .
Back to reality I saw Aerosmith live in concert.
It was great and satisfying.
In another dream, I saw a woman passing by, wearing raincoat and wellies
smiling at me, but this dream, unfortunately didn't turn into reality.
Maybe next time. :?

I would actually find the contrary very cool. Bacteria that eat rubber, plastics and symthetic fibres.
This would give our favourite garments a more environmentally friendly touch.
I just try to imagine how I would shred our pee-pants and other plastic clothing together with garden waste and compost them instead of sending them to the incinerator.
