My current rainwear that I love and cannot wait to wear most days are my decathlon cycle poncho and waterproof trousers
Nice and swishy and a hood I can tighten with plastic viewing sides
Absolutely wonderful

Have a look

My very very special 3 piece rainset that is reversible shiny royal blue yellow set .
Pants jacket Cape and iv got the matching heavy duty shiny blue gumboots with the yellow soles to match made of really really thick rubber not the cheap PVC China knock offs .

Iv only ever worn it once outside for only a few moments . And worn inside around the house a few times .
And once for a girl that wanted to see me in it and wear it and snuggle up on the lounge together.
Then was all folded back up nice and neat and all put back in its clear bags and put in the box it came in .
Same goes for the boots wiped down after wearing with spray and wipe put back in there box and put back into a locked cupboard
This is my dream set my very very special rainset
It's all made from extra thick plastic I'm too scared to wear it in case anything happens to it that's why it's under lock and key nobody's allowed to touch or there will be trouble on for young and old

I think I know the one you are referring to. Would this be from the (then) "Innovations" mail order company?

I bought a rainsuit from them too, but the pants ripped in the crotch years ago. I've still got the jacket though.

Unfortunately mason I'm not sure where it was purchased it was a present from my fathers partner it was fairly expensive she has good taste in things and expensive taste in things .
You would be hard pressed for these pants to rip or break or only from serious non intended use .
I'd go as far too say for them to rip or break in the crotch it would probley take two people having a serious tug of war pulling and tugging on a leg of the pants each and I'd say they still would not break easy would require some serious effort .
Iv never in my life owned a set so heavy duty but still so supple to wear .
It's a American brand from memory ultra something 🤷

I was wearing my favourite rainwear last Saturday when I was visiting a local farm shop which is all from Weathervain.

It is a trench coat, trousers and hat all in black shiny PVC. I was also wearing matching gloves.

As long as I'm wearing my navy Italian nylon raincoat, I'm satisfied. Preferably 2 or 3 raincoats.

Wow Delboy, wish I had been in that Farm shop at the same time. You would not have got away without some contact

Those yellow rubberised nylon anoraks that were in abundance in Germany during 1974 world cup.
