80's Patrick Cagoules == lovely.
I don't think the inside waterproofing was ever shiny. Being Polyurethane.
Most Peter Storm Cagoules used a similar waterproofing and also not super shiny.
Some exceptions though while Peter Storm fiddled about with the waterproofing. Like these:-

Acrylic coating made for shiny waterproofing. The thicker the coating the better.
Nice shiny inside waterproofing does make a nice Cagoule.
But I still love Patrick and Peter Storm Cagoules.
Proper 100% Nylon. Very noisy and making no apologies because of that.

I've got 2 of these. The one in the video and another in the orignal Patrick colours turquoise, white and blue.

Look and sound lovely.

Having come across a company make plastic & waterproof cloaks especially for wearing over a wedding dress to get from car to church in the rain it go me thinking and last few nights i have been having some wonderful dreams about having a wedding dress made entirely out of white Peter Storm cagoule material.

Of course complete with hood, fitted bodice with the Peter Storm white zip up the back and white toggled draw cords to cinch it tight over the top. Being a girly girl, some nice puff sleeves, full skirt several layes thick and a nice sweetheart neck line. The thought of the material tightly across my bosom, around my waist and then flowing out in the skirt has, I admit, being driving me wild thinking about it. I doubt you can buy sheets of the very same material anymore but it would have been fantastic to have had one made!
