1985 British sitcom 'Full House' - episode: 'Home Is Where The Art Is'. Suzi Jerome wearing a long shiny black PVC mac. She is playing the part of 'Jenny' from the local modelling agency. Timings for the mac scenes: (1) 12'-12" to 12'-46", (2) 14'-40" to 16'-47", (3) 19'-58" to 20'-27". Enjoy!

PS - Does anyone actually remember this series? I certainly don't but then again I spent most of 1985 in Sweden.

Brilliant find. I do remember the series, but not that episode. I love the idea of her wearing the PVC mack naked, although you don’t see anything, the imagination easily fills in the breasts…. er… boobs….. er blanks! My wife had a mack like that - lovely.

Cheers Ali! Yes, I remember that style of mac too. I'm pretty sure you could buy them at C&A stores in the mid-eighties.

I can well remember those macs! I can recall going down to London one day when I was at the University of East Anglia - returning to Norwich later that day. I decided to pop into The Woolpack for a few pints and distinctly remember seeing a lassie in the pub wearing a mac exactly like Suzi Jerome wears in 'Full House'. Pretty sure I saw macs like that for sale in late '85/early '86 at the C&A store in Norwich.

Cheers Ali. Interesting! I think Wrygges was an offshoot of Goldbergs - the Wrygges stores being aimed at a younger audience (the 16 to 25 year olds). If such macs were sold in there I don't think they would have been sold in C&A's stores where I originally thought I had seen them. Many thanks for getting back to me on this one - very much appreciated.
