Sex Secrets & Fetish Fears

Post by jane mackintosh »

How do we feel about our fetish for sex in rubber, PVC, mackintoshes, wellies, waders & other articles of waterproof clothing?
Naughty but nice? Silly but sexy? Perverted but passionate? Ashamed but addicted? Compulsion or choice? Ridiculous or riveted? Disgusted or delighted? Lewd or luscious? As chlldren we liked having secrets that were only shared with a select few of our closest friends, but never with adults.
Yet when it came to our feelings & reactions to our school rainwear or waterproof bed- wear, our love/hate relationship & "dirty" desires were so powerful & personal we refrained from sharing these with anyone, sometimes for decades. Even now, how many of us would willingly confess to our fetish & its power over our sexuality, to friends, family or colleagues. How many of us have never felt even a tiny twinge of shame or guilt as we rustle into a mackintosh, pull on our wellies or waders, slither between rubber bedsheets & begin to masturbate as our senses are over-whelmed by the sights, sounds, smells & touch of rubber or plastic? I must confess to all of the above & of being aroused by the confession. I am totally obsessed with women's rubber mackintoshes & PVC rainwear & wearing such garments is obligatory to achieve orgasm, with or without Viagra. So let's share our secrets & thrill to our confessions. After all that's what this forum is all about.

Totally agree with all you say Jane. For me nobody knew, not even closest friends. My desires felt so abnormal that I dare not tell anyone. I was so conflicted that I would be embarrassed by anyone wearing plastic, as if everyone around was judging me, even though there is no way they could know what I was feeling. When older I could watch with others but never made comments, such as the delights of the PVC clad girls on Kenny Everett. I vividly remember one dance routine when they wore only very high legged gold PVC swimsuits and I almost came there and then. Even now I find it difficult to mention my thoughts, even in front of my wife, who knows fully about my desires. This forum is the only place I am truly honest, and thankful for like-minded friends to confide in.

It’s a difficult one, many of us have come out to our other halves but not many to friends. Understandably.
A friend said ‘everyone looks normal going about their normal everyday lives, but look around the tesco’s shopping que, plenty of filthy f@@@ers, into all sorts of weird sh!t, it’s totally normal really’ she was right. Most people have some kind of fantasy or fetish but most of us think everyone else would find it weird so keep it quiet.
When i came out to close friends and family about my gender, most were totally fine and understanding about it. Apart from my mum.
Lets get swishy!

What really upsets me is that if I come out as gay, everyone would say how wonderful and brave I am!

But if I come out and tell everyone that I love wearing plastic pants and raincoats...................................... you get the idea *sigh*

So I remain quiet about it. Especially on Facebook.

There is a very large element of hypocrisy here.

I think it has to be with the number of people in a situation in the public knowledge. All the time people thought only very few people were gay it was considered unacceptable. But as more people came out it became obvious that being gay was more widespread, and therefore acceptable as not a one off. So if all the rainwear fetishests came out and told the world there might be enough to show it is far more widespread. Maybe all the people who wear PVC and rainwear in normal situations are rainwear lovers in denial. Like the girl at work who occasionally wears leatherette tight PVC leggings on a dress-down day. Even the relatively new idea of not really knowing what sexuality you think of yourself as is more acceptable than wanting to wear a PVC mack.

I'm most definitely not gay ( or lesbian ). I'm just a very feminine nymphomaniac with a long standing rainwear fetish.

As a woman it is probably easier to go out in my rubber or pvc macks and boots without attracting attention even if it's not actually raining. I love the looks that I get from blokes. If I fancy one or am feeling randy I sometimes ( often ) encourage further attention if a bloke is on his own.

I agree rubbermackintosh,my wife and I being lesbians love to wear our rainwear out in public and yes we get some looks and people comment on our outfits. We get some ladies who touch our arms to feel the rubber and ask where we bought them.We get strange looks when we wear our full suits into town then people wonder why wear it.

It’s really nice to see postings from our female members, and to hear your points of view on rainwear in public. I really like to see ladies dressed in rainwear and PVC, but it only just occurred to me that there is another side to this; an affirmation from a woman that it is OK to wear shiny clothes and thus in some way lessens the guilt I feel for my own desires. I know that the vast majority of women wearing things like shiny PVC leggings are doing it as a fashion statement, but I think that there is a tiny minority of people who don’t think that shiny = sexy in some way.

When I am out walking in my PVC jacket I like to think that some people might take comfort in seeing it, although it is not very shiny unless it is wet.
