Rainwear in public

I am wondering about other members experiences with wearing their rainwear out in public. I have always worn nylon cagoules out when it is raining, but it is only in the past 2 years or so that I have dared to wear a long PVC mac out in public. When I was young back in the 1980's a shiny mac was definitely the garb of women and I would not have dared to buy or wear one. I get the impression from reading posts on here that most members wear their rainwear out in public, but I think that some members do not. I still feel a bit self conscious in public but I feel liberated from my fears about wearing what I want.

I wear rainwear even if there is not a cloud in the sky but I understand your fears. Since I have discovered rainwear as a turn on, it is a special feeling to wear it

I didnt manage to open the photos. I am a closet cd and like to wear pvc maid uniform when i get the chance. When i go out wearing my pac a macs as a man i always feel as if people are looking and laughing as i am 70 they seem to think of me as a flasher im sure. I have worn plastic macs for over 60 years and still love the feeling.

My wife and I are happy to wear our PVC macs in public and have done for many years.

Quite often we are complimented on our practical rainwear and are asked where we purchased our coats as the people asking are wishing to buy a similar coats for themselves.

Today.I was walking around my local NT property wearing my black PVC trenchcoat. Nobody commented however a lady gave a knowing smile as she walked by with
friends

During the past month I have been out shopping wearing a matching PVC face mask and recievd positive comments from cashiers as I was paying for my purchases.

I'm a tranny and the journey from closet to being openly public was a very gradual one. I've always been drawn to rainwear and have liked to express my lady side with macs and trench coats in all their different forms - short, long, PU, SBR, PVC, Burberry etc.

I was always slightly concerned that shiny macs might be seen as a more fetish type garment. How wrong I was!!! Women wear them all the time and especially so when they're in fashion and readily available on the High Street. Now, I don't think twice about wearing my macs and trenches outside and nobody bothers. I'm just a tranny in a mac and it makes me wonder what I was worried about all these years. I guess it was just a gradual case of building confidence.
I don't see many women in shiny macs these days, I was in a seaside town back in the summer when I saw a woman wearing a black PVC coat and I thought then that it was along time since I had noticed one. Where did you get that black PVC mac, I wish I had one like it.

Sounds similar to my experience. I began to wear my shiny mac out very early on a summer morning when I was unlikely to meet anyone else, especially if it was raining. On one of these walks I met a woman walking her dog, I was gripped by the fear that she might think I was a flasher but she just said hello the same as anyone else would be greeted. I then began to realise that most people are not that bothered by what you are wearing.

Well it’s raining in Surrey here so I’m off for a walk. I’m dressed all in pvc and feel great. Thigh high flat boots, trousers, tight top, bucket hat, gloves and Mac!! I don’t care what people think, but I’ll stay dry in this inclement weather!! Have to admit, I feel quite horny and wish I could bump into one of you on the way for some rainwear chat and fun!! Looks like the weather is changing this week so I hope you all enjoy the rain!!
