Hi All

Since joining this Site, there have been several messages/comments from Members of such a nature that I would dearly love to contact them for possible mutual pleasure.

I wrote to the Administrator pointing out the frustration and apprehension in communicating with a Member without having some idea of where they live - even if only a general area.
The reply indicated that new joining Members - and alterations to existing Profiles, would in future be required to give an approximate domicile.

Whilst the reply is to be welcomed, could I encourage anyone who may wish to meet up with fellow enthusiasts, to amend their Profile accordingly. Not compulsory, but possibly an advantage.

That's an easy one, I'm based in the UK, East midlands and to be more precise, very near Nottingham. Is that good enough

Could just ask, ‘where abouts are you from?’ When chatting? Not everyone wants to give away their location.

That is helpful. People(myself included) might have a valid reason for not wanting to give too many details on the open forum.

To Smooth and shiny - fully understand - I don't want to give too much away either - but nevertheless it would be useful when contacting someone of interest, to know if they lived within striking distance or Timbuktu!!

I must admit I feel that a County should be the minimum requirement in Location - it doesn't pin point anyone down very specifically
But hey - that's just my view .
