not my thing. I would imagine it would be a good way to draw attention to yourself, and I really would not enter a shop dressed like that, may give entirely the wrong impression.
Common sense should prevail with such things
Masks/Hoods and Rainwear?
Re: Masks/Hoods and Rainwear?
I am sure in the United Kingdom you may get arrested to.
As the previous comment said not my thing either but each to their own.
I personally can not see the point in wearing a mask.

As other guys - not my scene - but hay ho each t their own as long a snbody is hurt!
Broad minded enough to acknowledge we all enjoy different things:)
Re: Masks/Hoods and Rainwear?
Agin not a good idea as it would stop you seeing where you were going and then if on a bike you could not see from side to side.
Again the police would stop you and explainations are difficult.

Re: Masks/Hoods and Rainwear?
One good compromise is open face latex rubber hoods which are all but invisible beneath the hood; they feel just great and nobody can see them.
I've gone out like this dozens of times without any problems; and it is a complete blast being unable to undo the hood (or rainwear) lest they see what i'm wearing underneath!

Re: Masks/Hoods and Rainwear?
Yes that would be one solution
But I think he meant a full mask?
Then where we are it would be instant trouble!

Re: Masks/Hoods and Rainwear?
Yeah I never understood the whole gas mask thing, even in conjunction with rubber rainwear. But to each his/her own. I don't cast aspersions on those who get off on that sort of thing, seeing as there are so many people who find our own shared fixation with rainwear just as odd.
Re: Masks/Hoods and Rainwear?
Hi Milruibber, Im with you I'm afraid although it looks like we are in the minority here. i too love wearing rubber hoods with my rainwear, although the only times I have done worn a hood in public is when driving the car, still a great buzz though!
Re: Masks/Hoods and Rainwear?
Yes.I wear a fullface respirator mask with a PVC chemical suit.
I'm obliged to dress like this for several tasks at work.
Would I walk in public dressed like this?
No.I think you'd scare people.
You can get a similar experience wearing a full face motorcycle helmet.
That's maybe a bit more acceptable.
