I'm pretty sure the suit would do a good job of protection if Miley were caught out in a downpour with it on - so that seems fairly rainwear related to me.

I agree, I'm sure it would but you have to remember some people on this forum get very over heated if something is not strictly rainwear

Only some and not all .....

That suit would bei nice under a shower. Or for jogging .... Maybe jogging first and then showering in and outside.

I haven't found members to be overly worried about the strict definitions as everyone knows we all like similar, but not the same things. My favourite outfit is a plastic jelly jacket, which is rainwear(ish), and plastic joggers (which are not rainwear).A plastic mac is very nice, but in satin or gaberdine it does nothing for me, but I know that the style is more important than the material.

I could imagine that this suit would be very nice for a proper mud bath.
