Hello,
Tonight here in the North east of France, there are a few showers not very long but heavy
Going at home from work, I stayed approx. 10 minutes in the park place waiting for the heavy rain wearing my long charcoal see throu vinyl raincoat ( the same as in the fist picture of my signature

) , I well secure all the buttons and the hood. I slowly crossed the parking and got into the park of the residence (one hundred apartments in 4 buildings within a large park), hoping to cross a neighbor.
Unfortunately I have only seen two neighbor in their car

. at home I put my boots, a tee shirt, pants, chaps all made of black shiny vinyl ( from PVC-U-Like) and a dress pants. I waited for the next heavy rain to go out and cross the park to go to the car and I came back. In my building waiting for the lift I finally met an old neighbor woman neighbor

who congratulated me on my raincoat. It was completely soaked.
I finally came back home happy to have spent time under the pouring rain and happy to have shown my raincoats.
I look forward to the night to go out wearing one of my favorite long Pvc –U-Like raincape .
I'm still a bit shy to wear a cape in the city

in broad daylight. Only dare to do in the forest during the day or only at during the night in the city

.
Is there anybody else who is trying to show them wearing theire raincoats

good that you had the chance to get your raincoat wet. Still very little rain here in the east of England

Hello Cirevinyl,
Here in the Netherlands ,a little North of your region we have few rain, and if it falls ,it is in the nighttime.
I like too to walk in the rain (If it falls )
I have a long blue PVC cape from PUL and boots , and I wear it only if it really rains ,that is when the streets are wet and the cars use their wipers.
I walk nowadys also in streets with people ,by day, and I must say that here in the Netherlands you see no walking people when it rains , only in their dry cars and on their bikes (With an umbrella !)
Nobody looks at you, because they don't know you have a fetish, they only see a person who wants to be dry on an unusual way, no more.Remember that !
Greetings, Peter

Bonjour Cirevinyl,
No more French , because it is not so good as Enghlish.
Let's hope for rain together ,there is some rain expected tomorrow evening here, from the South ,so perhaps your region will also get something in the morning/afternoon.
Greetings ,Peter

Hi Peter ,
by the way I don't know if you can recognize the site where the two first picture in my signature were taken:
Werkeiland Neeltje Jans
4354 Vrouwenpolder, The Netherland
exactly: 51.641725, 3.712159
During three marvellous (rainy and windy .......but also for the region and its inhabitants

) days spent with my wife in zeeland
I hope also for rains tomorrow! my raincoats and raincapes are much too dry they need to be soaked
Greetings

Hello Cirevinyl,
Shame on me !
I did not recoqnize it ,I have never been there.
I know the name of Neeltje Jans of course.
I think there is always wind there and not so much rain as in the rest of The Netherlands. The coast is mostly dryer than the rest of the country. There for my region ,Rotterdam-Leiden is still the dryest part of the Netherlands !
Perhaps it will change slowly.
But Zeeland and its towns like Vlissingen and Middelburg are nice places.
In a few weeks we, that is me and my wife go to Oberstdorf ,a village in the Southern part of Bavaria (Bayern ) there is much more rain, just like today.
I hope we have some rainy days. My wife does not. She likes more the sun and not the rain.
So when it rains ,I go uot in my PUL cape.
Greetings ,Peter

Good for you to stay protected and dry. If somebody made a negative comment, I think I would say "nice to be dry...maybe you should consider one of these yourself..they're great!" and be on my way. What can be said? YOU are the one showing a practical solution so get those waterproofs on and go! thanks for your post and comments!
