Quick heads up on this film folks. It will be shown tomorrow (Thursday 18 June) at 14.45 on Talking Pictures TV. It's a very good film to watch even if you don't have an interest in women wearing plastic macs - not too many on this Forum (LOL!). However, in the film, Rose (a prostitute played by the lovely Dora Bryan) is wearing a wonderful vintage plastic mac. Definitely a film worth recording if you are not able to watch it 'live' tomorrow.

Yes, the actress in 'Port of Shadows' is Michèle Morgan - she also wears a plastic mac in 'Joan of Paris'. I know of Dora Bryan wearing a plastic mac in 'A Taste of Honey' and 'The Fallen Idol'. Do you know the names of other films where she wears one? I am not aware of any.

I think so too mate. I'm desperately trying to find out the names of other films she wore plastic macs in. I know of 'A Taste of Honey' and 'The Fallen Idol' but I'm sure she wore macs in others. Anyone?????
