I’ve been looking for a while, as I’ve taken up cycling, for some waterproof shorts but I can’t seem to find any... anyone have any experience or ideas ?

Try PVC u-like .They have shorts, and i have a pair myself, and they do get used for cycling.

Ebay have some nice yellow ones, thought about buying a pair for swimming in

I have some nylon shorts and 3 of those are waterproofed on the inside.

Maybe I should wear those swimming the next time I can get away on holiday.

Will have to check the ones on PVC U like.

Where are they from?

Desmitt and Assos have some nice PVC shorts. The ones from DeSmitt I have are transparent and made from polyurethane and were advertised as board shorts. They are sexy and stimulating to wear, with their slick surface and crackling texture. Highly recommended. Got 'em on ebay.

Where are they from?

I got them eBay years ago brand new new and they only had 3 pairs left.

Try Ebay. I have lots of shiny pvc shorts from Dapa designs. Search pvc shorts.

Almost every manuufacturer of shiny vinyl garments has at least one model of shorts or hotpants in his collecion.
Another solution is to shorten an existing model by oneself or have it done by a tailor.
I know someone who is using one of our rainwear p-pants for jogging after removing the elastic Bands at the leg openings.

You could buy some nylon waterproof pants and cut out the bottoms to turn them into waterproof shorts, or even some sauna suit pants, which can be made of plastic, and cut the bottoms of those to turn them into plastic shorts.

They would probably feel amazing on their own commando.
