Funny how old ladies insist on you being appropriately dressed for the weather!

I now have a delivery round, delivering 500 local advertising magazines. The old lady who manages the round states that appropriate clothing should be worn. I suggested I should wear my full one piece heavy fishing suit and rubber boots - and she insisted that I do!!

I hope it rains now, otherwise that will be one hot delivery round. I'm already dressed for it, and roasting already

I went out for a nice walk in the rain this morning.
Industrial PVC chest waders and a heavy unlined PVC fishing jacket kept me nice and dry. Heaven!

It is absolutely pouring down here in South Wales. This morning I went out early before it got wet to the post office to collect a parcel that was too big for the letterbox yesterday and turned out to be a long -50"- bright Yellow thick PVC mackintosh (Or Slicker as the Americans advertised it as on Amazon where I bought it from).
The sleeves were really long and as it began to pour down heavily I was forced to wear it but I had to roll the sleeves up quite far though. Absolute heaven but no comments or looks as I did'nt see anyone else nearby on my way home.
